Neener Neener Sister-in-Law

So my sister-in-law made me the subject of her blog yesterday taunting me about my Wii age and generally mocking me (not that I didn't deserve it). I can take the licks especially because (drum roll) my Wii age is now 50! Still not under my actual age but if I can take 5 years off every day I will be a ... wait, I might be a pimply teen in just a few days - that won't be good! In that case perhaps I had better cut down on the Wii play and spend more time on my actual life. Hey, I just realized that I am like a virtual Benjamin Button. Not having seen the movie I am not sure whether that is good or bad but I know that Brad Pitt ain't bad so I think that can keep the metaphor? Analogy? straight comparison? I always hesitate what to call that. I could always look it up I guess. (I looked it up - it's analogy).

Today is filled with To Dos surrounding my trip to Japan tomorrow morning. With all the Wiiing I haven't given it much thought. I guess that it is about time to start.

I really like Japan. I like the order and the politeness. I like that the whole country runs on the "Quality" principle (at least from my tourist point of view it does). For some reason even driving on the other side of the road is easier in Japan than it is in England.

I am looking forward to going to the 100 Yen store and supplementing my supply of nylon shopping bags with funny English phrases on them and the notebooks that have cute bears on thecover with captions like "Spring is for Picnic" and "You should surely to be happy". On each page is written "Happiness is sent to you". When I can get happiness sent to me for 100 yen I am indeed happy!

I am looking forward to Sushi galore. I am looking forward to feeling tall. I am looking forward to exploring. And most of all I am looking forward to seeing Prince Charming :) The only thing that I will be sad about is leaving my Wii (huge grin at sister-in-law - you have time to get one and practice before I get back).

So off I go! My To Do list awaits ...

Have a Happiness Day!

Ella

  1. Brad Pitt as Benjamin Button dies when he keeps aging backwards.

We don't want that to happen to you!

Have a GREAT time in Japan...keep blogging while you are there - this is getting fun.
